The future of workplace management is here

Organizations invest a lot of money in keeping their employees motivated and engaged onsite. While these efforts can be helpful, they don’t address important underlying workplace issues, such as poor space planning, hybrid scheduling difficulties, and outdated workplace processes and experiences.

That’s why I’m so excited about our continued innovation at Envoy, especially with our Workplace Platform that’s specifically designed to confront these challenges head-on.

Envoy Workplace Platform is built on three core tenets

We started by simplifying workplace technology, bringing everything companies need to run their workplace on one integrated platform. Envoy Workplace Platform delivers on three of the most pressing issues confronting workplace leaders today:

  • Workplace utilization and insights
  • Workplace safety, security, and compliance
  • Workplace experience

Workplace leaders should be able to capture and view their data in a single platform, rather than manually gathering it from disparate sources. Unlike other complex and disjointed workplace platforms, Envoy passively aggregates data—requiring no extra work on your part—from badge swipes, sensors, Wi-Fi, and desk and room reservations, providing one comprehensive view of their workplace context.

Leaders also need access to accurate workplace data. With better data, they can finally answer critical workplace questions, such as:

  • How can we optimize our space utilization and investments to reduce costs?
  • Which days have peak attendance so we can increase our food and cleaning services?
  • How can we drive higher real estate ROI?

To illustrate this, consider Envoy’s occupancy dashboard, which offers companies comprehensive workplace attendance data by tapping into employees' existing behavior via our access control system and Wi-Fi integrations. When employees enter the office, they can either badge in or connect to the onsite Wi-Fi to automatically check in. Additionally, we track how frequently desks and meeting rooms are reserved within the workplace.

Now, we're taking things a step further with data-driven attendance insights for proactive space management. We’re centralizing this data to provide workplace administrators with exclusive insights as they customize their workplace maps. For example, now, Envoy can alert workplace leaders when employees frequently visit without assigned desks, helping them optimize seating arrangements based on actual usage patterns.

Empowering workplaces with an intuitive and easy-to-use platform

Through speaking with customers and understanding their specific pain points, we knew our workplace platform not only needed the features and capabilities for companies to run their workplaces well; it also needed to be intuitive for admins. Admins require an easy-to-use workplace platform for managing the needs of current and prospective workplace occupants but also addressing the broader demands of efficient planning to provide an overall exceptional employee experience.

That’s why, at Envoy, we always strive to deliver exceptional usability and effective results. We’re committed to helping our customers optimize outcomes and create a workplace that caters to the needs of everyone—from employees and visitors to job candidates, contractors, and vendors.

To that end, we’re excited to announce that we’ve added emergency notifications onto our platform.

This gives workplace leaders the confidence to quickly and effectively communicate critical information during emergencies. We enable companies to send multi-channel alerts via SMS, email, and push notifications to ensure that all visitors and employees get the information they need to stay safe.

Admins can send emergency notifications directly through our Envoy mobile app. We know from developing this with our customers that it’s imperative for workplace leaders to send alerts to the right group of people–whether they are currently onsite or are scheduled to come into a specific location–in a way that is fast and accurate. Unlike other point solutions, Envoy provides a unified view to identify and message everyone, including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors across company locations. I couldn’t be more excited for the work we’re continuing to do to help our customers solve their critical workplace challenges. If you’re interested in learning more about the Envoy Workplace Platform and how it can support your company, be sure to get in touch with us.
